Practitioner Certificate in Software Asset Management (PCSAM) Training Course

The ISEB Software Asset Management (SAM) Certificate syllabus and qualification is designed to provide Software Asset Managers, who work in the typically complex computing environment of medium to large companies, the knowledge to implement and maintain an effective SAM programme.

This 5 day BCS/ISEB accredited course which prepares delegates to sit and pass the Practitioner Certificate in Software Asset Management examination makes full use of both the current best practice, such as the SAM module within IT Infrastructure Library (ITILv3), and the ISO 19770-1 Standard. The training course utilises several practical exercises to provide delegates with extensive hands-on experience of all the key components of implementing SAM.

This PCSAM qualification is heavily oriented to practical exercises and aimed at those who wish to gain practical experience in the key SAM lifecycle activities such as:

Candidates who take the exam should be able to demonstrate knowledge and competence in planning, implementing, and maintaining a SAM programme, and be able to recognise where software asset management is applicable within their own environment.
